Being present at the crown of your head, everything appears in clearness, nothing is hidden.
Whenever the glabella begins the differentiating process even slightly, the heaven and the earth will divide into infinite parts.
The conflict between the good and the bad is the sickness in one's mind.
Top of your head is in entirety as is the great void. Dwell neither in the entanglement of thought, nor inside no-thougt.
Stay at the top of head, looking for nothing.
Denying that there are wandering and chattering movements in your mind, will let the truth of THAT slip by.
Making out that your mind is in quietness, will let the truth of THAT slip by.
The more you handle THAT, the more you leave further from THAT truth.
Cease discussing and thinking about the truth of THAT.
The top of head says nothing "about" THAT, but continues being THAT.
Complement to every thing out there, is born from the unity of the top of the head, but do not hold too much to that unity either.
Even to neutralize that hold, darkness is there.
When the thought is toward light, any thing perceived will only go into changes, but never will vanish.
However within darkness, even that darkness perceived as the target of the perceiving thought will vanish in the end, so the host of thought himself will then disappear.
Even holding onto enlightenment is staying at the sidetrack.
If you wish being at the one and only house, within the top of your head, do not dislike neither the world of sensation or the world of thought.
All and every dream will end itself, if the seer within the top of head does not go to sleep.
See the mind ceaselessly moving even in the quietness, and call in mind the silent THAT being in stillness even in hectic circumstances.
Then every thing will flow without stopping, with no one to memorize and remember.
To immediately harmonize being in presence, simply take heed to the top of your head, the moment any doubting thoughts begins.
As you are in heed, there is nothing to separate, and nothing to exclude.
The time and the place is a matter of no importance. There is no boundary between being and no-being.
The same goes to taking heed to the top of head, and the darkness dropping out.
Go into neutral dissolution, without going into discernment.
Then, there will be no yesterdays, no tomorrows, and no todays.
Lawless region in the darkness of the universe
Since ancient times, in India, dharma; law, has been metaphorized as follows. The wandering of thoughts is the clouds, and enlightenment is a blue sky.
A blue sky is there in the break of the thoughts. It has been there always, there from the beginning.
To "be" in this blue sky has been said to be in enlightenment. The common Zen, ends at this point.
(In Mumyouan, we call this point the small-enlightenment.)
Next: No, the clouds and the blue sky are the same. There is no such discretion. The clouds are the clouds, the sky is the sky. Let them as they are. There are ones who attain another kind of discretion and the enlightenment like that, the kind throwing away the discretion between the enlightenment and the wandering, the enlightenment beyond discretion.
This ENLIGHTENMENT is the enlightenment which does not discriminate between the sky and the clouds, in short, which says that there is neither enlightenment nor wandering.
However, do remember this. If Zen supposes the ENLIGHTENMENT that there is neither enlightenment nor wandering, is the final large-enlightenment, there exists "the supra-enlightenment" in the universe. It is not being in ENLIGHTENMENT that there is neither enlightenment nor wandering, but it is the state where both the enlightenment itself, and the wandering itself truly vanish away.
In fact, it is not even a state of being. It is just nothingness, that not even a state could exist.
Then, what at all is a dharma that is not rubbish, that is not useless than dust? Why are we born? For what purpose? What should we do? Why do we exist?
If you want the answer, go over that sky, go over to the unenlightened darkness where not even an enlightenment exists.
In front of the definite reality of the universe, Zen could never once again give preaches.
Actually, there is no such dharma, that is not rubbish useless than dust. All is dust, and is nothing.
That is the highest dharma. That is the inhumane extreme of the truth, that the dharma innately has.
